About Mergent Indexes
Broad Dividend Achievers Index
The Index is designed to track the performance of dividend paying companies that meet the "Dividend Achievers" requirements. To become eligible for inclusion in the Dividend Achievers Index, a company must be incorporated in the United States or its territories, trade on the NYSE, Nasdaq or AMEX, and have increased its regular annual dividend payments for the last 10 or more consecutive years. In addition, Mergent applies certain additional screening criteria to ensure a stock’s liquidity and investibility. The Index is calculated using a modified market capitalization weighting methodology, and is published by the AMEX under the ticker symbol "DAA".

Dividend Achievers50 Index
The Index is designed to track the performance of the 50 dividend paying companies in the Broad Dividend Achievers Index with the highest dividend yields. To become eligible for inclusion in the Dividend Achievers 50 Index, a company must be incorporated in the United States or its territories, trade on the NYSE, Nasdaq or AMEX, and have increased its regular annual dividend payments for the last 10 or more consecutive years. In addition, Mergent applies certain additional screening criteria to ensure a stock’s liquidity and investibility. The Index is calculated using a dividend yield weighting methodology, and is published by the AMEX under the ticker symbol "DAY".

High Growth Rate Dividend Achievers Index
The Index is designed to track the performance of the top 100 highest dividend paying companies by compound annual growth rate that meet the "Broad Dividend Achievers" requirements. To become eligible for inclusion in the Index, a company must be incorporated in the United States or its territories, trade on the NYSE, Nasdaq or AMEX, and have increased its regular annual dividend payments for the last 10 or more consecutive years. In addition, Mergent applies certain additional screening criteria to ensure a stock’s liquidity and investibility. The Index is calculated using a modified market capitalization weighting methodology, and is published by the AMEX under the ticker symbol "DAH".

Canadian Dividend Achievers Index
The Index tracks the performance of dividend paying companies that meet the "Canadian Dividend Achievers" requirements. To become eligible for inclusion in the Canadian Dividend Achievers Index, a company must be incorporated in Canada, trade on a major Canadian exchange, and have increased its regular annual dividend payments for the last 5 or more consecutive years. The Index is calculated using a market capitalization weighting methodology.

International Dividend Achievers Index
The Index is designed to track the performance of dividend paying American Depositary Receipts, common stocks and ordinary shares of non-U.S. companies. To become eligible for inclusion in the International Dividend Achievers Index, a company must be incorporated outside the United States, trade on the NYSE, Nasdaq or AMEX, and have increased its regular annual dividend payments for the last 5 or more consecutive years. In addition, Mergent applies certain additional screening criteria to ensure a stock’s liquidity and investibility. The Index is calculated using a dividend yield weighting methodology, and is published by the AMEX under the ticker symbol "DAT".
